Multi-layer insulation – MULTIFOIL
The multi-layer insulation also called MULTIFOIL is composed of many layers of reflective radiation blocks and layers of Snowhite insulation between them. The internal radiation blocks are made from reinforced aluminum foil, while the external layers also contain a strong reinforced net which prevents tearing and allows for stretching the sheet of insulation at the time of installation.
The advantage of MULTIFOIL is in the very high level of insulation achieved with a relatively thin thickness of insulation. Hence, a minimum of reducing the inside area of the building while getting high acoustic and thermal insulation; maximum thermal comfort while minimizing air conditioning costs.
The special structure of the MULTIFOIL insulation provides it with exceptional features:
- Improved insulation capability R=5. This thermal resistance replaces standard insulation products with a thickness of 20 cm. and above.
- Maximum blocking of loss of heat from the building to the external environment during the cold winter days and the penetration of heat into the air-conditioned building on scorching summer days.
- Saves up to 70% of the air-conditioning and heating expenses.
- Is not perishable and does not change its form throughout the life of the product.
- Serves as a vapor block and blocks the penetration of water subsequent to breakage of shingles.
- Improved acoustic qualities which reduce the passage of noise through the roof and the outside walls.
- Easy and convenient composition; simple for self application.
The insulation is suited for installation for a variety of uses:
- Existing or new shingle roof insulation.
- Insulation of attics which are built.
- Insulation of concrete and metal ceilings under shingle roofs.
- Insulation of hollow walls in lightweight building.
- Roof and walls' insulation in industrial buildings.
