Hollowfiber

The Haama line of non-woven fabrics is manufactured in two advanced technologies:

1. Thermo bond technology

This serves for manufacture of products for the textile and insulation industry, mattresses, blankets and filters.

The combination of polyester fibers and the advanced production process ensures a number of advantages:

• High recovery rate.
• Degree of fabric softness – equal and smooth surface.
• Inflammability – inflammable products in accord with the German Standards DIN 4102.
• User friendly – formaldehyde free.
• Environmentally friendly – the products are completely recyclable.

All of the products manufactured by thermo bond technology are offered in a range of options in terms of weight, density, thickness, size and texture.
Every product is available in one of a number of packaging methods – in regular rolls, vacuum packed rolls or in mats form .
Weight: 45 – 2000 grams per square meter.
Thickness: 0.5 cm. to 30 cm.
Width: up to 3.4 meters.

2. Resin bond technology

This serves primarily for textile industries (filling for coats), camping (filling for sleeping bags) and home furnishings (filling for blankets, mattresses and upholstering).

The use of the advanced resin bond technology for bonding fibers ensures that all of the products offer the three most important features for the different target industries:

• Particularly high recovery rate.
• Pleasant softness and texture; or alternately, hardness and stiffness.
• A wide range of weights, thicknesses and compressibility.

Hollow fiber
Products from polyester fibers intended primarily for blanket filling and warm overalls.

Silicon fiber
Products combining soft silicon fibers, soft and caressing to the touch, intended primarily for quality blanket production.

4 holes fiber
Products combining hollow fibers with 4 holes, soft and smooth touch, intended primarily for supreme quality blankets with an improved level of insulation.

Upholstering
Stiff products providing volume for furnitures, flexibility and high recovery rate.

Mattresses
Products for filling mattresses providing volume, softness and high recovery rate.

Fire Resistance
A unique Haama development products made of inflammable fibers intended primarily for blanket production.
The special product is used in fire retardant blankets for hospitals and hotels according to the new Israeli standard.
All of the products meet the British BS5866-4 Standard.

Multi-needle quilting
An advanced quilting method by which hollow fiber is manufactured for sleeping bags and coats, and quilt them to other fabrics, in accord with the client’s request. Haama is the exclusive supplier of these products to the Israel Defense Forces, for the manufacture of coats and sleeping bags.
